LAMP

A night where I question,

Who am I, what is my worth,

Sleepless, anxious,

Alone.

From my window, a playful light

That of a lamppost, through the tree leaves

Alone, yet shining.

It converses with me:

In darkness, light shines brighter;

In the night sky, stars shine bright

Fear not, I am here

I will be your company

In the night's darkness.

All of this will be a beautiful story one day.

For that story, you need to live it.

My friend, that light shines so bright.
